I enjoy doing large sculptures that appeal to both young and old. My intent was to bring a smile to one’s face – regardless of their feelings for the specific subject matter. “Hop To It!” is a brightly colored Leopard frog with a lot of character. The viewer sees a frog leaping in effortless motion, with his large eyes gleaming, and body glistening with the wetness of his environment. This sculpture has garnered public appeal at a national level, and is included in the prominent collection of the National Zoo in Washington D.C.
